This textbook by Drs. Burgener, Kormano, and Pudas, Bone and Joint Disorders. Differential Diagnosis in Conventional Radiology, is in its second edition. The original was published in 1985 and, at that time, was rather revolutionary. The authors, Burgener and Kormano, decided to approach musculoskeletal radiology in a much more pragmatic way than typically encountered. By and large, texts are organized based on disease entities, but as we are all aware of, disease states do not declare themselves when we are faced with radiographs for interpretation.
